The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dimos Violopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Katsoulakis in the 6th minute of play forced CLC Winter's goalkeeper Dario Contaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Contaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimos Violopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when CLC Winter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Addari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trifillia.FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Concetto Tassotti scored to the left of an out of position Giorgos Kavouras, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Trifillia.FC's Giorgos Kavouras got control of the ball when Emiliano Addari tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kostas Katsoulakis came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Trifillia.FC fans jumped to their feet. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Concetto Tassotti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dario Contaldi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kostas Katsoulakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 52 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostas Katsoulakis in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Contaldi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Trifillia.FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Vaggelis Traboukos hit a great ball. Kostas Katsoulakis had several of the CLC Winter's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-6 score and a disappointed Dario Contaldi as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Trifillia.FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
