Monty Stout blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amado Galeno having to make a save. 10 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dustin Thome came free, but Amado Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Damaso Orlin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of El Canalla de Chicago's Jonah Peck. Jonah Peck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damaso Orlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonah Peck having to make a save. El Canalla de Chicago's Jonah Peck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Orlin in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Damaso Orlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonah Peck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jonah Peck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Amado Galeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolph Thurman in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Julian Corcoran got a free kick in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Thurman came free, but Amado Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clark Lindsey was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Vicente Colas hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, James Uribe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. James Uribe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Galeno having to interfere. El Canalla de Chicago's Cobi Babcock was substituted for A.J. Fernandez. In the 67th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monty Stout to maneuver through the defense. If Damian Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Clark Lindsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonah Peck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Orlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Orlin to maneuver through the defense. When El Canalla de Chicago's Monty Stout in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. Although El Canalla de Chicago had been in control for most of the match, Racing Club still came away with the win.
