Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bahadır Doğanay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Vern Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bahadır Doğanay was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Vern Wright ran back to his position shaking his head. The Pueblo FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Pueblo FC's Vern Wright looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bursalona getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Murathan İcabi hit a great ball. Bursalona's Bahadır Doğanay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vern Wright in the 72nd minute of play. Bahadır Doğanay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shelton Clifton in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vern Wright in the 79th minute of play forced Bursalona's goalkeeper Bahadır Doğanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bursalona's Haldun Onay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boyd Winkler. That made the score 4-1 after 86 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pueblo FC had won after a very even match.
