Vinará FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Esdras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válter Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vinará FC booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Senna's late challenge caught a Vinará FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Senna helped the player get up and apologised. Gaudencio Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Porto having to interfere. With his leg Astor Quintun managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Belotaurus FC's Júlio Mello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eleuterio Frederico hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Lenílson Quadros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Quintun skillfully saved the ball. Belotaurus FC's Adriano Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Vinará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Belotaurus FC's Adriano Neves made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Quintun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vinará FC's Astor Quintun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Mello in the 40th minute of play. Astor Quintun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Mello in the 41st minute of play. Vinará FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Belotaurus FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filiberto Franco took the corner. In the 47th match minute, Vinará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Frederico to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santos Lauaxeta to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Vinará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Herena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the Vinará FC and the Belotaurus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Astor Quintun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 72 minutes of play, Belotaurus FC's Cléberson Faria made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Esdras in the 95th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Válter Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davi Castro during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Davi Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Belotaurus FC had played much better football throughout.
