Esteban Kaiet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Freire in the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséas Freire in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Kaiet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Segio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Almirante Brown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sprite Star Football the free kick. After 19 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Segio. Daniel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Kaiet having to interfere. Carlinhos Pinho was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Benedicto Chale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benedicto Chale really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 30 played minutes Sprite Star Football got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Matos. In the 32nd minute, Sprite Star Football's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benedicto Chale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Oséas Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Esteban Kaiet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Segio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Fabricio Lorencio got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Benedicto Chale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Club Almirante Brown's Esteban Kaiet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Montenegro in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Segio to strike the kick off in the second half. Esteban Kaiet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christiano Ramalho in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes, Nicanor Ceandro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Almirante Brown and the Sprite Star Football players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sprite Star Football booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Club Almirante Brown's Nicanor Ceandro to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlinhos Pinho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Prospero Abad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Mateo Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Berbiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Club Almirante Brown's Esteban Kaiet got control of the ball when Christiano Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldir de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Almirante Brown booed when Sprite Star Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Remigio during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlinhos Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Berbiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Carlinhos Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sprite Star Football getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Waldir de Medeiros hit a great ball. Carlinhos Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Berbiz in the 95th minute of play.
