The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Weston Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Tuan Tackett fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Creekers's protests and gave Tuan Tackett a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Tuan Tackett got a free kick in the 5th minute. Weston Rivera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Gonchan in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to TALLERES getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Guaberto Fertus hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, TALLERES's goalkeeper Mario Cuenca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tuan Tackett. Gary Gamble recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuan Tackett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mario Cuenca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Dudley Hadley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Cuenca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Creekers's Dudley Hadley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mario Cuenca. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Gonchan in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Weston Rivera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Creekers booed when TALLERES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Sugar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Dudley Hadley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TALLERES's Mario Cuenca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dudley Hadley made a kick off. If Bernabe Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Cuenca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Goss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TALLERES's Mario Cuenca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudley Hadley in the 65th minute of play. Primitivo Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Weston Rivera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Arnalt charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Arnalt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, TALLERES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Arnalt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Gonchan in the 82nd minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Weston Rivera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Cuenca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Baez, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mario Cuenca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary Gamble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Weston Rivera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The supporters of TALLERES booed when Creekers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuan Tackett didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Creekers had played much better football throughout.
