When Roman Tomporowski fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Śląsk Bytom's protests and gave Roman Tomporowski a yellow card for diving instead. Roman Tomporowski hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Edmílson Valadares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachariasz Gongolewicz skillfully saved the ball. Zachariasz Gongolewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Sena in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Leite in the 6th minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Zachariasz Gongolewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Chludzinski kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 10 minutes of play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Edmílson Valadares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zachariasz Gongolewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Śląsk Bytom's Norbert Nowakowski got a free kick in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Augusto Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zachariasz Gongolewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Joélson Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Slawomir Karp. 22 minutes into the match, Augusto Sena notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Śląsk Bytom's Zachariasz Gongolewicz. Zachariasz Gongolewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 minutes, Augusto Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Litoral EC - CIMZ and the Śląsk Bytom players grew even worse after the yellow card. 27 minutes into the game, Aírton Capixaba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Zachariasz Gongolewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zachariasz Gongolewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Sena went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Zachariasz Gongolewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Vides's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 41st match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Leite to maneuver through the defense. Zachariasz Gongolewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Vides in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Litoral EC - CIMZ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute, Augusto Sena made a precise shot to the right of Zachariasz Gongolewicz. Śląsk Bytom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Zachariasz Gongolewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aírton Capixaba's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. A collision led to Śląsk Bytom getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hieronim Misiorowski hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Zachariasz Gongolewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Vides. Śląsk Bytom's Zachariasz Gongolewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Śląsk Bytom from getting a goal against them.
