In the 14th match minute, Pénzügyőr SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erben Kiewit to maneuver through the defense. Lu Guang Lang kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 16thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Pénzügyőr SE's keeper Vencel Mezei was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Lu Guang Lang put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vencel Mezei. In the 19thth minute of the game Lu Guang Lang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cremonese's Jeremias Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Güralp Sekib in the 21st minute of play. Cremonese's Lu Guang Lang was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Vencel Mezei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duvan Zapata, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Lu Guang Lang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Vencel Mezei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeremias Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Albäck in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Cremonese's Duvan Zapata ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vencel Mezei. Vencel Mezei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 38th minute, Lu Guang Lang fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Cremonese getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Duvan Zapata hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Lu Guang Lang had to leave the field with a concussion. When Szilveszter Sóti fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pénzügyőr SE's protests and gave Szilveszter Sóti a yellow card for diving instead. Cremonese's Mauro Rexino was substituted for Lu Guang Lang. After a defensive mix-up in Pénzügyőr SE's zone, Květoslav Kubalík stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vencel Mezei came out of the goal and Květoslav Kubalík tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Albäck was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Mauro Rexino made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vencel Mezei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Rexino's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Vencel Mezei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Rexino went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duvan Zapata in the 66th minute of play forced Pénzügyőr SE's goalkeeper Vencel Mezei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cremonese made a substitution. Rolando Sabino replaced Roman Chucho. Cremonese's Leandro Gonzalez Pirez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vencel Mezei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 71st play minutes Duvan Zapata shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Vencel Mezei and just under the crossbar into goal. 75 minutes into the match, Pénzügyőr SE's goal looked a bit too open when Duvan Zapata came free, but Vencel Mezei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rolando Sabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Duvan Zapata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 played minutes, Cremonese's Ingvar Lundqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vencel Mezei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cremonese reached it. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 9-1 when Duvan Zapata sped through Pénzügyőr SE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vencel Mezei. After 86 minutes, Duvan Zapata made it 10-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 minutes of play, Cremonese's Rolando Sabino made it 11-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vencel Mezei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Duvan Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Duvan Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Cremonese were the better team. Cremonese's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
