Rudy Lukas tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ter Stegen. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Diablofaryd F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rigan Frankson came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Diablofaryd F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aban McBjarton came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diablofaryd F.C.'s Chan Cho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rudy Lukas, made in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Wagner Kill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Wagner Kill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ter Stegen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wagner Kill, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in 1948 MKS's zone, Wagner Kill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ter Stegen came out of the goal and Wagner Kill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wagner Kill in the 44th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aban McBjarton. After the first half Diablofaryd F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wagner Kill made a kick off. Wagner Kill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aban McBjarton, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigan Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Diablofaryd F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Wagner Kill came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Diablofaryd F.C.'s Wagner Kill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ter Stegen. That made the score 1-3 after 71 minutes of play. Rudy Lukas made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Diablofaryd F.C.'s Chan Cho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wagner Kill in the 77th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigan Frankson in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grzegorz Szamotulski saved Diablofaryd F.C. from getting behind. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey Molloy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wagner Kill scored 1-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ter Stegen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aban McBjarton in the 83rd minute of play forced Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Beagan Colwell got a free kick in the 85th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torrey Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wagner Kill in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Aban McBjarton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1948 MKS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Diablofaryd F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
