Leonid Afteni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Mendebal Meruendano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sporting Chilcano's Mendebal Meruendano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Chilcano from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tiémoué Bakayoko managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pepe Burrón's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiémoué Bakayoko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mendebal Meruendano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Sporting Chilcano's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Galván came free, but Mendebal Meruendano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes Sporting Chilcano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivon Curiel who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to FC Pepe Burrón getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Tiémoué Bakayoko hit a great ball. FC Pepe Burrón's Orlando Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Ronaldo in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, FC Pepe Burrón's Leonid Afteni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mendebal Meruendano. Mendebal Meruendano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 21st minute Armando Santotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Rivera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Santotis in the 27th minute of play. If Tiémoué Bakayoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Leonid Afteni made a precise shot to the right of Mendebal Meruendano. Sporting Chilcano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Sporting Chilcano's Mendebal Meruendano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Chilcano from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Sporting Chilcano's goalkeeper Mendebal Meruendano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonid Afteni. FC Pepe Burrón made a substitution. Pedrinho Fahlmann replaced Leonid Afteni. FC Pepe Burrón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. At last the ball reached Alex Sandóval at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Sporting Chilcano. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrinho Fahlmann made a kick off. Mendebal Meruendano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Fahlmann in the 58th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, FC Pepe Burrón's Pedrinho Fahlmann made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mendebal Meruendano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedrinho Fahlmann took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mendebal Meruendano. Mendebal Meruendano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 70th minute, Erez Gordo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Walmarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lionel Ronaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sporting Chilcano defense, Pedrinho Fahlmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mendebal Meruendano. The Sporting Chilcano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mendebal Meruendano should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Lionel Ronaldo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orlando Rivera. The goal made the score 6-2. 91 minutes into the match, Sporting Chilcano's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Fahlmann came free, but Mendebal Meruendano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Walmarsson's late challenge caught a Sporting Chilcano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Walmarsson helped the player get up and apologised. FC Pepe Burrón's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
