Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Micah Daly started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Taylor Hill's late challenge caught a Starboyz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taylor Hill helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinand Califf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dwight Rasmussen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Starboyz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Connors to maneuver through the defense. Micah Daly's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Pineda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Lawrence Connors hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Evan Keyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Pineda having to interfere. When Micah Daly came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Eupora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micah Daly couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Evan Keyes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eupora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Micah Daly might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Pineda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Micah Daly ran back to his position shaking his head. If Micah Daly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute, Evan Keyes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Pineda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A hard shot 40 in the game by Evan Keyes from a close distance when the talented Rodrigo Pineda managed to make a qualified save. Starboyz's players were relieved. Starboyz's Kirby Poirier got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rhett Bassett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Evan Keyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Starboyz's goal looked a bit too open when Whitney Tatum came free, but Rodrigo Pineda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eupora's Lorenzo Esparza got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute Micah Daly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Pineda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evan Keyes struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Rodrigo Pineda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eupora. If Micah Daly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Micah Daly notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Starboyz's Rodrigo Pineda. Rodrigo Pineda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evan Keyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Pineda having to interfere. When Eupora's Micah Daly in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Starboyz's goalie prevented a goal. Starboyz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
