Joe Moore hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Hayden Hickman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pottsgrove's Rufus Spicer. Rufus Spicer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rufus Spicer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hayden Hickman went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rufus Spicer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayden Hickman in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Pottsgrove got a freekick which was hit by Kent Horner. After a rather tough play, Fallbrook AFC's Teodoro Glenn got a free kick in the 30th minute. Teodoro Glenn hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Andre Kimbrough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winston Dunn in the 33rd minute of play. Rufus Spicer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rex Bynum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Winston Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Bynum in the 47th minute of play forced Pottsgrove's goalkeeper Rufus Spicer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Fallbrook AFC's Andre Kimbrough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winston Dunn in the 51st minute of play. Hayden Hickman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Winston Dunn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pottsgrove's supporters rose to their feet, but Winston Dunn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Kimbrough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Winston Dunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andre Kimbrough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Barrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Pottsgrove's Winston Dunn got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Winston Dunn in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andre Kimbrough prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kent Horner got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fallbrook AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Derick Lyles in the 83rd minute. The corner led Fallbrook AFC's Derick Lyles to fire away a dangerous shot which Rufus Spicer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rufus Spicer made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Rex Bynum sent off a good shot on target. Rufus Spicer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rex Bynum in the 96th minute. Fallbrook AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
