Hector Ritter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ace Acevedo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. After some careless play in the LV Toros FC defense, Lance Bautista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Ritter. ALIANZA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ace Acevedo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ace Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALIANZA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ace Acevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Ritter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ALIANZA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The supporters of LV Toros FC booed when ALIANZA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Schaefer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Reilly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dallas Bonner went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score.
