In the 4th minute Ahmed Gregg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Madden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gary Madden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyd Nicholson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Merrill Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Damon Flint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gary Madden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirby Sims in the 19th minute of play. Maxwell Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damon Flint having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Gregg in the 24th minute of play forced Minuteman FC's goalkeeper Gary Madden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Aztecs Premire booed when Minuteman FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Benjamin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gary Madden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Gregg in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Minuteman FC's zone, Boyd Nicholson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gary Madden came out of the goal and Boyd Nicholson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Boyd Nicholson came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Aztecs Premire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyd Nicholson couldn't finish the play. If Boyd Nicholson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lane Metz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lane Metz during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute Ahmed Gregg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Madden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 46th minute of the match Lane Metz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lane Metz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 46th minute, Lane Metz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute of the match Aztecs Premire got a corner. Minuteman FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tyrese Grayson ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmed Gregg was the one to do the kick off. Aztecs Premire's Alistair Morris shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gary Madden but with some difficulty. Ahmed Gregg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary Madden having to interfere. Maxwell Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damon Flint having to interfere. Damon Flint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxwell Arias in the 72nd minute of play. Minuteman FC's Gary Madden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Gregg in the 78th minute of play. Boyd Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxwell Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damon Flint having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Minuteman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Gregg came free, but Gary Madden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aztecs Premire's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
