Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) American Falls FC's Oscar Reyes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Wally Covington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colorado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wally Covington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jonathon Banning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colorado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathon Banning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napoleon Elliott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathon Banning's late challenge caught a American Falls FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathon Banning helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Colorado FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathon Banning. In the 22ndth minute of the game Wally Covington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but American Falls FC's Napoleon Elliott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wally Covington in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Elliott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathon Banning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wally Covington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Elliott having to interfere. When Wally Covington came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Colorado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wally Covington couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Landis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Wally Covington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Napoleon Elliott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wally Covington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Wally Covington's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Elliott was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wally Covington in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Napoleon Elliott saved American Falls FC from getting behind. Wally Covington might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Napoleon Elliott. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wally Covington ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wally Covington to make the kick off. When the final whistle sounded Colorado FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than American Falls FC.
