The referee showed Allen Beltran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pacific Richmond AFC's Robin Lind got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Weston Rader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Connor Rushing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Allen Beltran threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pacific Richmond AFC's Robin Lind quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 18th minute, Darius McLain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of WPB Gators FC booed when Pacific Richmond AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Joyce didn't get a good kick on the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 21st minute, but Carlo van der Schans got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Pacific Richmond AFC hanging dry this time. In the 23rd minute WPB Gators FC were awarded a corner. Darius McLain went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 24th match minute, WPB Gators FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Sweeney to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Ismael Gibbons was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pacific Richmond AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WPB Gators FC the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Ismael Gibbons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Darius McLain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WPB Gators FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darius McLain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Weston Rader ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Connor Rushing was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Carlo van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory Whittington in the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Weston Rader made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Gerry Ivey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WPB Gators FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pacific Richmond AFC the free kick. The supporters of Pacific Richmond AFC booed when WPB Gators FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerry Ivey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pacific Richmond AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When WPB Gators FC's Cyrus Friedman in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlo van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyrus Friedman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Connor Rushing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian McCormick, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Carlo van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Ivey in the 71st minute of the match. Pacific Richmond AFC were furious when Ismael Gibbons was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Pacific Richmond AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of WPB Gators FC:s goal. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for WPB Gators FC. Darius McLain stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlo van der Schans. 2-1. After 80 minutes Pacific Richmond AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Darius McLain who took care of the corner kick. The corner led WPB Gators FC's Darius McLain to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlo van der Schans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyrus Friedman in the 82nd minute of play forced Pacific Richmond AFC's goalkeeper Carlo van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Weston Rader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Rushing having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Weston Rader kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Connor Rushing. That made the score 2-2 in the 93 minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pacific Richmond AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
