The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allen Salinas to strike the kick off in the second half. With splendid footwork Luke Erwin arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-2 by the left pole in the game's 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Soldotna's zone, Allen Salinas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kelly Trevino came out of the goal and Allen Salinas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 61 minutes on the clock, Edward Traylor commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Kelly Trevino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mór Cilia, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Allen Salinas managed to get in a good position for a shot.
