Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zack Harris made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Dillon Yarbrough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sammy Middleton fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferry Pass's protests and gave Sammy Middleton a yellow card for diving instead. Sammy Middleton hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Rhett McKinley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rashad Fugate in the 9th minute. Dillon Yarbrough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Beck having to make a save. Nicky Benavides kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ali McClure struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Adrian Beck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Billz United. Nicky Benavides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Beck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali McClure, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Nicky Benavides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali McClure in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Beck saved Ferry Pass from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Billz United's goal looked a bit too open when Derrick McIntosh came free, but Rhett McKinley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derrick McIntosh kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Nicky Benavides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Beck having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Ali McClure made the kick off in the second half. Dillon Yarbrough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billz United's Connor Swenson got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Connor Swenson lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Ferry Pass a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Craig Whitney, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Billz United's Rhett McKinley. 2-0. Rhett McKinley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Vinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Nicky Benavides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kory Gallegos during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adrian Beck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dillon Yarbrough in the 77th minute of play. If Nicky Benavides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute of the match Kory Gallegos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rhett McKinley skillfully saved the ball. If Lanny Li had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ferry Pass support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
