Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 169) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bryce McGowan took the kick off in the first half of the match. US Army's Christian Durham pulled a muscle in his leg after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. US Army's Isaiah Hinkle was substituted for Christian Durham. In the 4th match minute, INTER MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Albert to maneuver through the defense. Bryce McGowan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Monty Pepper when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Miguel Baggett hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. US Army's Brant Benson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Mohr in the 14th minute of play. Monty Pepper made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Marshall Titus sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Monty Pepper managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when US Army's Bryce McGowan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th match minute, US Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marshall Titus to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Baggett during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of INTER MIAMI booed when US Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Baggett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casey Beard hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Zachary Albert hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper got control of the ball when Brad Murdock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brant Benson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Fair, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute of the match US Army got a corner. INTER MIAMI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brad Murdock ran over to the corner to take the kick. 42 minutes into the match, INTER MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Marshall Titus came free, but Monty Pepper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryce McGowan got free with Monty Pepper in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, US Army's Kasey Poole got a free kick in the 45th minute. Porter Hanna hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute of the match Roland Fair shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brant Benson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roland Fair to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryce McGowan in the 58th minute of play forced INTER MIAMI's goalkeeper Monty Pepper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Pepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryce McGowan in the 61st minute of play. Zachary Albert kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryce McGowan in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monty Pepper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshall Titus in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Octavio Parker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Monty Pepper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Monty Pepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Titus in the 72nd minute of the match. Monty Pepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Parker, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Monty Pepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryce McGowan in the 79th minute of play. When Marshall Titus was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. In the 83rd match minute, US Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marshall Titus to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Octavio Parker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. US Army's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER MIAMI the free kick. Ronny Cummins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Brant Benson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of US Army booed when INTER MIAMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Mohr didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Nathan Weeks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. US Army's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER MIAMI the free kick. After a rather tough play, US Army's Nathan Weeks got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the INTER MIAMI players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for US Army.
