After having played for 25 minutes, Bennett Newcomb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forest SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bennett Newcomb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Ross Landers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. In the 86th minute, Dino Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Dino Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. LEXINGTON F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alistair Estes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ross Landers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Collin Ali made a huge save. The LEXINGTON F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Forest SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
