Spectators: 9280 (Terracing: 6962, Seating: 2134, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Di Stéfano kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Dean in the 9th minute of play forced Misinformed Buffalo's goalkeeper Craig Velazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Damian Dean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Craig Velazquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Craig Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Dean in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Recolta Alamor got a corner. Misinformed Buffalo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Dean ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 21st minute, Emmanuel Pennington left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Recolta Alamor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Craig Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Dean in the 24th minute of play. Recolta Alamor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damian Dean in the 25th minute. With an all-out effort, Recolta Alamor's Craig Velazquez threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damian Dean, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Craig Velazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Dean in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Damian Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Recolta Alamor were awarded a corner. Damian Dean went to the cornerflag to take it. Damian Dean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Craig Velazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Damian Dean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Craig Velazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Misinformed Buffalo got a freekick which was hit by Leo Alefors. After having played for 45 minutes, Eli Fournier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Misinformed Buffalo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eli Fournier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Dean to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Misinformed Buffalo's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dean came free, but Craig Velazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Di Stéfano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Emmanuel Pennington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Craig Velazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Wes Nichols managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Di Stéfano during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Misinformed Buffalo's Wiley Abel was substituted for Roland Wray. Alfredo Di Stéfano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Damian Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Misinformed Buffalo got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Di Stéfano. After 78 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Damian Dean. Craig Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Dean in the 81st minute of play. Misinformed Buffalo's Craig Velazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wes Nichols in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes Misinformed Buffalo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Dean who took care of the corner kick. In the 87th match minute, Recolta Alamor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Dean to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Misinformed Buffalo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oren Braden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes, Recolta Alamor's Damian Dean shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Craig Velazquez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Recolta Alamor reached it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Recolta Alamor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Misinformed Buffalo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
