With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilmar Heidemann in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Aguilar saved Club Olimpia from getting behind. Oscar Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Nelson Haedo sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Lidberg in the 24th minute of play. Oscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Lidberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Lidberg in the 26th minute of the match. Oscar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Lidberg in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vilmar Heidemann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Aguilar was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. If Vilmar Heidemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilmar Heidemann in the 30th minute of the match. Vilmar Heidemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Iten's late challenge caught a Club Olimpia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arne Iten helped the player get up and apologised. Club Olimpia's Manolo Iravedra was substituted for Edmund Lidberg. Oscar Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Iravedra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Made in Paraguay's Oscar Cordoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Made in Paraguay from getting a goal against them.

Club Olimpia made a substitution. Luís Fernando Duarte replaced Otsoa Manzardo. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilmar Heidemann in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Rafinha Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes of play, Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Aguilar came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Made in Paraguay's Vilmar Heidemann. But to his dismay, Vilmar Heidemann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 69th minute, Vilmar Heidemann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Aguilar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Made in Paraguay's Joseba Font was substituted for Iratxo Acosta. Made in Paraguay's Ramone Betancur was substituted for Blanco Cotilla. In the 75th minute Roque Gora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Vilmar Heidemann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Made in Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilmar Heidemann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Aguilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Nelson Haedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Haedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes Made in Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Brasil. Arnulfo Bizi made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Olimpia's Jack Hägglund. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilmar Heidemann in the 92nd minute of play. Oscar Cordoba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelson Haedo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The Made in Paraguay players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Club Olimpia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
