Gafur Cingöz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teyo Ordoñez having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Teyo Ordoñez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gafur Cingöz. Teyo Ordoñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gafur Cingöz in the 75th minute of play. Fernando Cardozo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olo Uriarte. Olo Uriarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After taking down the ball on Club Olimpia's corner Otsoa Manzardo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olo Uriarte quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson Haedo in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olo Uriarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87thth minute of the game Nelson Haedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético San Antonio's Olo Uriarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético San Antonio's zone, Nelson Haedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olo Uriarte came out of the goal and Nelson Haedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Atlético San Antonio booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Escrig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olo Uriarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Olimpia's Teyo Ordoñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Club Olimpia from getting a goal against them. Atlético San Antonio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
