The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferit Boğatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Galvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urbano Aballe in the 24th minute. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Eduardo Paes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Toscano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beltran in the 26th minute of play forced AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goalkeeper Ferit Boğatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Ramalho came free, but Ismael Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
