The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Valadares in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute, Mauro Ihintza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pedro Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willian Félix's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Mauro Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Mazza having to interfere. Willian Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Ihintza in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Mazza saved Paraná Clube PG from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Ihintza in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19thth minute of the game Mauro Ihintza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraná Clube PG's Pedro Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mauro Ihintza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Mazza was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Rogério Ceni made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Barnaba Marud sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Ihintza in the 22nd minute of play forced Paraná Clube PG's goalkeeper Pedro Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mauro Ihintza sped through Paraná Clube PG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Mazza. After 27 minutes of play, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube PG's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Servaes came free, but Pedro Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Vinícius Servaes struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Pedro Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diamante Negro DK - VV. Kauan Negri's late challenge caught a Diamante Negro DK - VV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauan Negri helped the player get up and apologised. Vinícius Servaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinícius Servaes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 63 minutes of play, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Rosa came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Vinícius Servaes notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Paraná Clube PG's Pedro Mazza. Pedro Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Vinícius Servaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Vinícius Servaes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Mazza. Vinícius Servaes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Paraná Clube PG made a substitution. Durvalino Paranaense replaced Noel Quirino. In the 84th minute Paraná Clube PG were awarded a corner. Mazinho Valadares went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraná Clube PG's goalkeeper Pedro Mazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vinícius Servaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Mazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Vinícius Servaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
