After 3 minutes of play, Dogelo's Ambrosio Pepillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Carlos Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute, Ambrosio Pepillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Carlos Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 11th minute, Ambrosio Pepillo made a precise shot to the right of Zé Carlos Britto. Pragmáticos 1903's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Zé Carlos Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 15th minute of the match. Zé Carlos Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrosio Pepillo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 23 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Henry. Ahmet Danış Garipbaş took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Carlos Britto. Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tião Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Pepillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Carlos Britto. Pragmáticos 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ambrosio Pepillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 33rd minute, Ambrosio Pepillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Carlos Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After some careless play in the Pragmáticos 1903 defense, Joaquim de Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Carlos Britto. The Pragmáticos 1903 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Carlos Britto should have stopped the shot. Ambrosio Pepillo scored 0-8 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Carlos Britto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Pepillo in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Carlos Britto saved Pragmáticos 1903 from getting behind. In the 48th minute, Ambrosio Pepillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Carlos Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

The wind increased when Luiz Eduardo Alves made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Furlan. In the 56th minute, Ambrosio Pepillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Carlos Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Zé Carlos Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Ambrosio Pepillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé Carlos Britto. The goal made the score 0-11. Zé Carlos Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Pepillo in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Furlan in the 70th minute of play forced Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Jefferson Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Lico Catarinense. Zé Carlos Britto made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ambrosio Pepillo sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Pepillo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Carlos Britto made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ambrosio Pepillo sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Pepillo came free, but Zé Carlos Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Dabi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Dogelo's Ambrosio Pepillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ambrosio Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dogelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Pepillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Carlos Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosio Pepillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pragmáticos 1903 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vito Furlan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jefferson Furlan got free with Zé Carlos Britto in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pragmáticos 1903's Zé Carlos Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Furlan in the 95th minute of play. Ambrosio Pepillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Zé Carlos Britto made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Dogelo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pragmáticos 1903.
