Robby Woody started the match with the kick off. Condors F.C.'s Jakob Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robby Woody in the 10th minute of play. Hortêncio Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Percy Fernandez made a huge save. Jakob Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Edu Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Condors F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dong Yang Bang was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Clube Recife's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sport Clube Recife's Dong Yang Bang to fire away a dangerous shot which Jakob Jansson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Condors F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Carioca to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Condors F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Robby Woody came free, but Jakob Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Ulisses Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percy Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Lampard in the 35th minute of play forced Condors F.C.'s goalkeeper Jakob Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Pablo Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sport Clube Recife's Robby Woody in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Condors F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Condors F.C.'s Douglas Negri got a free kick in the 39th minute. But to his dismay, Gualter Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 46 played minutes Sport Clube Recife got a freekick which was hit by Edu Trancoso. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Sport Clube Recife made a substitution. Knut Söderström replaced Edu Trancoso. The wind increased when Hortêncio Macedo made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Condors F.C.'s Jakob Jansson got control of the ball when Gualter Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jakob Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Lampard in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Sport Clube Recife got a corner. Condors F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dong Yang Bang ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 61st match minute, Condors F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Negri to maneuver through the defense. Jakob Jansson made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Dong Yang Bang sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Sport Clube Recife's Dong Yang Bang got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th match minute, Condors F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Negri to maneuver through the defense. When Dong Yang Bang came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Sport Clube Recife fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dong Yang Bang couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Cipriano Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter Penha got free with Jakob Jansson in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74thth minute of the game Pablo Lampard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Condors F.C.'s Jakob Jansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gualter Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Condors F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hortêncio Macedo hit a great ball. Gualter Penha might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakob Jansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualter Penha ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Recife's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Macedo came free, but Percy Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reginaldo Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jakob Jansson made a huge save. Gualter Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jakob Jansson made a huge save. In the 94th minute Pablo Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percy Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Beltza, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Sport Clube Recife left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Condors F.C..
