If Jerônimo Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s Mai Yi Xu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Bernardo Lima made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Thomas Lang sent off a good shot on target. After 44 played minutes S.C. Ferrari got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Vieira.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gong Chao Ke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jerônimo Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ogro F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jerônimo Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fletcher Greenan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alysson Rezende having to interfere.
