Spectators: 6632 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1632, VIP seats: 0) Nueva Chicago's Rodrigo Eguzki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Teobaldo Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marayes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Primo's late challenge caught a Marayes AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Primo helped the player get up and apologised. Lino Primo kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th of the match, Leo Macerio tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Rosendo Hermelando got in the way and made a wonderful save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Faro got free with Rosendo Hermelando in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Rosendo Hermelando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Faro. Rosendo Hermelando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Faro in the 23rd minute. Teobaldo Faro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Rosendo Hermelando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nueva Chicago's Rosendo Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Macerio in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Estevez to maneuver through the defense. Leo Macerio struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Rosendo Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marayes AFC. Lino Primo might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Magdaleno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Primo ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnulfo Magdaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christian Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Eguzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Teobaldo Faro came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Marayes AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Faro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Marayes AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Constantino Soin hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Donato Franco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnulfo Magdaleno. Donato Franco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marayes AFC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Magdaleno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Eguzki in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Magdaleno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiburcio Fonda took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Hermelando. Rosendo Hermelando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Leo Macerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Macerio came free, but Rosendo Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nueva Chicago's Rosendo Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Macerio in the 79th minute of play. Nueva Chicago's Rodrigo Eguzki got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Magdaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Eguzki in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Marayes AFC's zone, Christian Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Magdaleno came out of the goal and Christian Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 played minutes Nueva Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Ospetsu. Saturnino Monico struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Rosendo Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marayes AFC. Marayes AFC's Teobaldo Faro got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
