With an all-out effort, Poroto FC's Lucas Cordeal threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aldo Balendin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Cipriano Aureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO's goalkeeper Lucas Cordeal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Aureo. In the 18th minute, Aldo Balendin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Cordeal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Poroto FC's Ruben Ramond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy James in the 23rd minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Balendin came free, but Lucas Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Balendin in the 32nd minute of play forced DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO's goalkeeper Lucas Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Galindo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO's Uriel Galindo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Cipriano Aureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. But to his dismay, Cipriano Aureo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Balendin was the one to do the kick off. If Rogelio Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 57 in the game by Rogelio Egun from a close distance when the talented Ruben Ramond managed to make a qualified save. Poroto FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Balendin in the 59th minute of play forced DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO's goalkeeper Lucas Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO defense, Cipriano Aureo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Cordeal. The DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Cordeal should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Poroto FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Damian Rayman hit a great ball. Ruben Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy James in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Freddy James dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruben Ramond, 3-1. A collision led to Poroto FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Celedonio Lluis hit a great ball. With a little luck, Poroto FC's Ruben Ramond got control of the ball when Freddy James tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO booed when Poroto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Balendin came free, but Lucas Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Galindo. DEFENSORES DEL PUERTO's Lucas Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Balendin in the 83rd minute of play. Ruben Ramond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy James, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 86 played minutes Poroto FC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Rayman. Freddy James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ruben Ramond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
