With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gildas Gasse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vaani Gómez made a great header on C.A. LANUS's corner, it was just that Argentina's Gildas Gasse managed to reach the ball for a save. With his leg Gildas Gasse managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when C.A. LANUS's Adamantios Geronimidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gildas Gasse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adamantios Geronimidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Cristian Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Jago in the 30th minute of play. Vaani Gómez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Adamantios Geronimidis put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gildas Gasse. When Adamantios Geronimidis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the C.A. LANUS fans jumped to their feet. LANUS's Cuma Akşit got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Fabricio Quintana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gildas Gasse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Quintana in the 85th minute of play. C.A. LANUS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vaani Gómez in the 87th minute. A nice corner shot did that Fabricio Quintana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gildas Gasse quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 89 minutes into the game, Adamantios Geronimidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Gildas Gasse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adamantios Geronimidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adamantios Geronimidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gildas Gasse having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the C.A. LANUS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
