Feliciano Marko made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jake Hursey sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Puch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Feliciano Marko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Puch during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Puch. 37 minutes into the game, Jake Hursey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lanús's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY the free kick. After 37 played minutes Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Jake Hursey. 40 minutes into the match, LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY's goalkeeper Feliciano Marko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rabelani Thebile. After having played for 43 minutes, Roberto Puch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanús's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Puch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Puch struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Feliciano Marko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanús. 47 minutes into the match, Lanús's goal looked a bit too open when Neymar Lewandowski came free, but Manuel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Lanús made a substitution. Eloy Gaskon replaced Roberto Puch. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neymar Lewandowski to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY's goal looked a bit too open when Rabelani Thebile came free, but Feliciano Marko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Gaskon might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliciano Marko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But to his dismay, Neymar Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Feliciano Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Gaskon in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Gaskon in the 64th minute of play forced LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY's goalkeeper Feliciano Marko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jake Hursey was slow to take the kick. During this time Lanús's players had a chance to rest. In the 66th minute of the match Lanús got a corner. LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jake Hursey ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 69th match minute, Lanús was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Barros to maneuver through the defense. Feliciano Marko came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lanús's Eloy Gaskon. But to his dismay, Eloy Gaskon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Feliciano Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Gaskon in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Gaztea. Feliciano Marko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Gaskon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82ndth minute of the game Runar Flou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lanús's Manuel Neuer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Lanús getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Amancio Ixona hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Lanús's goal looked a bit too open when Neymar Lewandowski came free, but Manuel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Runar Flou hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Americo Berbiz got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Runar Flou. 94 minutes into the game, Lanús's Eloy Gaskon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Marko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY's Teodosio Bitxintxo was substituted for Runar Flou. For all the effort they put into the match, the LOS CUERVOS DE CHIVILCOY players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lanús.
