The supporters of Belgrano de Pibasog booed when WINNING ELEVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Andro Reiman. Eustaquio Fortun struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jake Leonard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. In the 22nd minute, Serafin Elizardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WINNING ELEVEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Judas Verón replaced Iulian Ilinca. Bernardo Raggio came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by WINNING ELEVEN's Serafin Elizardo. But to his dismay, Serafin Elizardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Judas Verón got free with Jake Leonard in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard got control of the ball when Judas Verón tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner. Eustaquio Fortun went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eustaquio Fortun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jake Leonard quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fred Nilsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Raggio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcia Morros in the 44th minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Jake Leonard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Raggio. Belgrano de Pibasog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half WINNING ELEVEN were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fred Nilsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Judas Verón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Belgrano de Pibasog's Garcia Morros in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WINNING ELEVEN's goalie prevented a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Nilsson. In the 62nd match minute, Belgrano de Pibasog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Abadia to maneuver through the defense. Belgrano de Pibasog's Melquiades Henrico was substituted for Honorato Jerrold. Silvio Abadia hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Fred Nilsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Raggio. Fred Nilsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Nilsson got free with Bernardo Raggio in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Serafin Elizardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The WINNING ELEVEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jake Leonard should have stopped the shot. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garcia Morros in the 90th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Serafin Elizardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Raggio was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After 94 minutes Belgrano de Pibasog's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julio Tano who took care of the corner kick. In the 97th minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Leonard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
