The Mudquin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Lizer should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in CAM Football Club's zone, João Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Cruz came out of the goal and João Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mudquin FC's Adan Lizer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gelmiro in the 42nd minute of play. CAM Football Club were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Mudquin FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diego Ovando took the corner. Cristobal Abadia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Florencio Cruz made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Abadia made a kick off. Teofilo Kelemen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adan Lizer firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 53rd minute, Santiago Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Abadia in the 54th minute of the match. Teofilo Kelemen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Lizer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. CAM Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diego Ovando in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Cristobal Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mudquin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Abadia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CAM Football Club's Angelo Isusko was substituted for Apolo Bikendi. Adan Lizer made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Teofilo Kelemen sent off a good shot on target. Adan Lizer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Kelemen in the 69th minute. Cristobal Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute Cristobal Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Izel in the 89th minute of the match. Cristobal Abadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Santiago Bartoli in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mudquin FC's Maximino Abechuco. 96 minutes into the game, German Bizi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mudquin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAM Football Club the free kick. In the 96th match minute, Mudquin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Bizi to maneuver through the defense. Adan Lizer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Santiago Bartoli. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
