Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ovidiu Acatincăi made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Dündar Aynacıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. After 40 minutes AFTER GYM FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonardo Cordero who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, AFTER GYM FC's Leandro Santoro got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Celta de Virgos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFTER GYM FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benny Niva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, AFTER GYM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Lorenz to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Melquiades Chumo in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Celta de Virgos's Sergio Sayvion. Maciej Burdzel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Ascencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Astudillo in the 80th minute of play forced AFTER GYM FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Acatincăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute of the match, Maciej Burdzel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zacarias Ascencio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Celta de Virgos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Maciej Burdzel scored to the left of an out of position Zacarias Ascencio, making the score, 1-2. Maciej Burdzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Celta de Virgos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFTER GYM FC's performance. The match ended with a win for AFTER GYM FC.
