But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Pero couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Gaueko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Abadia's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Tiburcio Gaueko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Marco Pero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adan Lizer firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Academia FC booed when Mudquin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adan Lizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pero in the 39th minute of play. The wind increased when Cristobal Abadia made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mudquin FC's Cristobal Abadia got a free kick in the 50th minute. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Abadia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiburcio Gaueko was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Mudquin FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
