After 5 played minutes CAM Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Prasidis. Florencio Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benny Niva in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute Teofilo Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Idacio in the 17th minute of the match. Zacarias Ascencio came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by CAM Football Club's Arnaldo Idacio. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Idacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. CAM Football Club's Florencio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Niva in the 25th minute of play. CAM Football Club's Florencio Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save CAM Football Club from getting a goal against them. Teofilo Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Zacarias Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Ascencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Idacio's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Gomez in the 36th minute of play forced CAM Football Club's goalkeeper Florencio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Ruben Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Ovando hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Leonardo Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Celta de Virgos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Cordero couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Teofilo Kelemen took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Ascencio. Zacarias Ascencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Kelemen in the 62nd minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Zacarias Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, CAM Football Club's Teofilo Kelemen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Ascencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio got control of the ball when Teofilo Kelemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 minutes, Sakis Prasidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CAM Football Club and the Celta de Virgos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Celta de Virgos booed when CAM Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakis Prasidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Simon Izel could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Zacarias Ascencio however easily saved by the left post. Dario Leheren kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
