Agustin Orion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mano Hume didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelio Rius went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Amboy FC's Agustin Orion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Bermudo in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Amarita came free, but Agustin Orion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match, Mario Alberto Abascal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mano Hume saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mano Hume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Modestio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Mario Alberto Abascal fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amboy FC's protests and gave Mario Alberto Abascal a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Alberto Abascal. The Utopía Muerta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mano Hume should have stopped the shot.
