The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Soveral got free with Cristiano Lage in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Lage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Soveral's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Campelo in the 14th minute of play forced Minho FC's goalkeeper André Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pál Polyák took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Figueiredo. André Figueiredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute Minho FC were awarded a corner. Yu Ran Zhen went to the cornerflag to take it. Minho FC's Ivo Mourato was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristiano Lage in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A nice corner shot did that Yu Ran Zhen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristiano Lage quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristiano Lage made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélder Soveral in the 27th minute. Minho FC's André Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pál Polyák in the 29th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pál Polyák made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Magno Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SITIO CITY's Cristiano Lage was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute SITIO CITY were awarded a corner. Rubim Jordão went to the cornerflag to take it. Rubim Jordão made a great header on SITIO CITY's corner, it was just that Minho FC's André Figueiredo managed to reach the ball for a save. 65 minutes into the match, Minho FC's goalkeeper André Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pál Polyák.
