The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Igor Demo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Golo Strojek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ded Moroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute, Golo Strojek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Valdemar Oliveira in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FK Mazda Svidník's Boran Sarih. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matúš Závodský in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ded Moroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stanislav Saktor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Irod, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ded Moroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matúš Závodský's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Matúš Závodský was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Mazda Svidník's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G-TN rest-ART the free kick. After a rather tough play, FK Mazda Svidník's Matúš Závodský got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Grigore Irod who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Mazda Svidník's Stanislav Saktor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ded Moroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matúš Závodský, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matúš Závodský in the 27th minute of play forced G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Ded Moroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Matúš Závodský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ded Moroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Matúš Závodský managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Mazda Svidník's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matúš Závodský was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ded Moroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qi Xuan Si, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Matúš Závodský received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ded Moroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny Norberg lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for G-TN rest-ART! The referee gave FK Mazda Svidník a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matúš Závodský, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of G-TN rest-ART's Ded Moroz. 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matúš Závodský was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, FK Mazda Svidník's Matúš Závodský ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ded Moroz. Ded Moroz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The supporters of G-TN rest-ART booed when FK Mazda Svidník was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrej Matta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ded Moroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Strojek in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match FK Mazda Svidník got a corner. G-TN rest-ART's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qi Xuan Si ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Qi Xuan Si almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but G-TN rest-ART's Ded Moroz did a great save. In the 60th minute, G-TN rest-ART's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matúš Závodský fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In a very dangerous position, a player in G-TN rest-ART fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! In the 71st minute, Golo Strojek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ded Moroz. The goal made the score 0-5. A collision led to FK Mazda Svidník getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Matúš Závodský hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Strojek in the 77th minute of play forced G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Ded Moroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matúš Závodský succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 79th playminute. 83 minutes into the match, G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Ded Moroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matúš Závodský. G-TN rest-ART made a substitution. Marek Antalovič replaced Róbert Čapo. In the 95th match minute, G-TN rest-ART was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matúš Zvijač to maneuver through the defense. Ded Moroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matúš Závodský's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. In the 99th minute of the match Wit Ludzia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanislav Saktor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
