A beautiful save bye Dolinka FK's goalie prevented a goal. Peter Pekarík kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Dolinka FK booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernon De Marco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomáš Požgaj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mário Súľovský made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Mário Súľovský successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Mário Súľovský managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mário Súľovský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Požgaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Štefan Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Che in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Dolinka FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Di Che to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 43rd minute of play forced Dolinka FK's goalkeeper Mário Súľovský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Pekarík kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomáš Požgaj was the one to do the kick off. Vernon De Marco made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Peter Pekarík. In the 55th minute Igor Bališ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Súľovský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tibor Popluhár charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tibor Popluhár the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dolinka FK's Tibor Popluhár got a free kick in the 65th minute. AFK Petržalka's Ján Novák was substituted for Tomáš Požgaj. In the 67th minute, Tibor Popluhár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Štefan Semeno made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Nasko Minovski sent off a good shot on target.
