Ladislav Lomnický was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gong Yang made a kick off. UFC Pivnica's Ladislav Lomnický proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save UFC Pivnica from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute Richard Kňazovický shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislav Lomnický saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marek Horvát took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ľubomír Smatana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UFC Pivnica's Ladislav Lomnický played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Kňazovický in the 66th minute of play. Blas Soter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ladislav Lomnický made a huge save. Jozef Cifra kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Ladislav Lomnický had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregório Pimentel. Marek Horvát made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ľubomír Smatana in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes FC Kukova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antón Lackovič who took care of the corner kick. Martin Višňovský hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Kukova booed when UFC Pivnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomáš Mišík didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Ladislav Lomnický managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when FC Kukova's Gong Yang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Kukova were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing UFC Pivnica to leave the ground with a draw.
