The supporters of Ostens BK booed when FC Johanneslust was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Mogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Jarl Biörnberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Åke Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Oskar Olsson in the 19th minute of the match. Fredrik Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Heden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, FC Johanneslust was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Sundström to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bengt Dalman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostens BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Dalman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Åke Valrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Åke Valrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Dalman in the 33rd minute. In the 45th minute Rune Nordin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt Dalman made a kick off. Fredrik Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the FC Johanneslust defense, Sven-Oskar Olsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Åke Valrot. The FC Johanneslust fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Åke Valrot should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, FC Johanneslust's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Strömberg came free, but Karl-Åke Valrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Sven-Erik Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Rune Nordin made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Isaksson. Ostens BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Nordin got free with Fredrik Isaksson in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Arne Benett took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Åke Valrot. FC Johanneslust's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven-Erik Ennegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Isaksson having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Karl-Magnus Söderberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Johanneslust fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Sigfridsson in the 89th minute of play forced FC Johanneslust's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Valrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Magnus Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Karl-Åke Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Olsson in the 95th minute of play. Ostens BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Johanneslust for a fine match.
