Andy Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Cordeiro in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Marko Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rossoneri XI getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Albin Björklund hit a great ball. Jorge Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marko Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes, Jorge Cordeiro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rossoneri XI's Andy Berg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Otto Hermansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Özdilek in the 31st minute. When Newcastle United FC's Jorge Cordeiro in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rossoneri XI's goalie prevented a goal. Otto Hermansson came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Rossoneri XI's Mehmet Özdilek. But to his dismay, Mehmet Özdilek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 40 minutes, Radomil Prusinowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rossoneri XI and the Newcastle United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rossoneri XI getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Radomil Prusinowski hit a great ball. Andy Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Cordeiro in the 41st minute of play. After 43 minutes Rossoneri XI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nichifor Crivoi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Max Mohammad got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andy Berg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Otto Hermansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Özdilek went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Özdilek was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Rossoneri XI booed when Newcastle United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Mohammad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Rossoneri XI's goal looked a bit too open when Max Mohammad came free, but Andy Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newcastle United FC's Otto Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Björklund in the 74th minute of play. Otto Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Björklund in the 76th minute of play. Andy Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Özdilek in the 82nd minute of play forced Newcastle United FC's goalkeeper Otto Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Max Mohammad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newcastle United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Newcastle United FC's Lars Olofsson was substituted for Max Mohammad. Rossoneri XI's Honorato Soveral was substituted for Albin Björklund. Newcastle United FC's Robert Hökqvist was substituted for Marko Gustavsson. After having played for 92 minutes, Lars Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newcastle United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Olofsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andy Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Olofsson in the 94th minute of the match. When Georg Simonsson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rossoneri XI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Simonsson couldn't finish the play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
