The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oskar Benet had several of the Bluehills Rovers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed George Soned as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Oskar Benet put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of George Soned. Oskar Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. George Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Lomma FK's Oskar Benet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Soned narrowly saved just below the crossbar. George Soned didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oskar Benet went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Oskar Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Soned having to interfere. Oskar Benet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Soned having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Benet in the 34th minute of play forced Bluehills Rovers's goalkeeper George Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Oskar Benet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oskar Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Benet in the 43rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oskar Benet to make the kick off. Lomma FK's Oskar Benet got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskar Benet might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Soned. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oskar Benet ran back to his position shaking his head. Oskar Benet struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. George Soned didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomma FK. 59 minutes in the game Philip Sandwall did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Henrik Biörnberg. Oskar Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Soned having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bluehills Rovers's zone, Oskar Benet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Soned came out of the goal and Oskar Benet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Lomma FK's Oskar Benet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Soned made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Lomma FK's Oskar Benet got a free kick in the 77th minute. Henrik Biörnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bengt Beck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bluehills Rovers's George Soned played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Benet in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Oskar Benet put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of George Soned. After 89 minutes, Oskar Benet made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bluehills Rovers's George Soned tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Robinho Leite took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Soned. George Soned dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0.
