Adam Mårtensson started the match with the kick off. Kristoffer Västerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Holmgren in the 3rd minute of the match. Kalle Askberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Lidköping were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Sundborn IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stayko Vakareliyski took the corner. Kalle Askberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Bogren in the 13th minute. A collision led to Lidköping getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Adam Mårtensson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lidköping's zone, Ted Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Västerstrand came out of the goal and Ted Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristoffer Västerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaloyan Mitashev in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sundborn IF! Sundborn IF:s Kalle Askberg showed great skill when he stopped Adam Mårtensson:s penalty. Kalle Askberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Mårtensson went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kristoffer Västerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Ted Holmgren made a precise shot to the right of Kristoffer Västerstrand. Lidköping's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kalle Askberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Stefan Bogren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kalle Askberg. The goal made the score 2-1. After 43 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristoffer Västerstrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 48th minute, Börje Ekström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristoffer Västerstrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.

The audience was convinced that Stefan Bogren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalle Askberg was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Stefan Bogren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalle Askberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Lidköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalle Askberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Bogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Ted Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Kristoffer Västerstrand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kaloyan Mitashev hit a great ball. Sundborn IF's Simon Wallin was substituted for Kaloyan Mitashev. In the 80th match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaloyan Mitashev to maneuver through the defense. Stayko Vakareliyski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kristoffer Västerstrand was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Börje Ekström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Börje Ekström really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. The Sundborn IF fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ted Holmgren took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristoffer Västerstrand. Kristoffer Västerstrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7.
