Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Boylin in the 5th minute of play. Oakcroft Thrashers were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after SoS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ludwig Ståhlman took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ludwig Ståhlman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Erik Larsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SoS FC's Tommy Boylin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christoffer Modig in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ian Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Boylin struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Christoffer Modig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SoS FC. SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Wright in the 30th minute of play. Karl-Erik Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, SoS FC's Tommy Boylin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christoffer Modig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ian Wright scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Erik Larsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Boylin came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Run Run had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Wright was the one to do the kick off. If Ian Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, SoS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Wright came free, but Karl-Erik Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Boylin in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoffer Modig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Tommy Boylin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffer Modig. Oakcroft Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Boylin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. SoS FC made a substitution. Bernt Lundqvist replaced Run Run. SoS FC's Stig Beckman was substituted for Eduard Gâgea. SoS FC made a substitution. Guaberto Tudela replaced Marek Jaraczewski. Ian Wright's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Erik Larsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Oakcroft Thrashers's Hugo Hellgren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernt Lundqvist in the 76 minute of the game. Karl-Erik Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Wright in the 77th minute of play. Karl-Erik Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Wright in the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Ian Wright made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Erik Larsson. SoS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 83rd minute Ian Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Tommy Boylin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Wright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Karl-Erik Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Oakcroft Thrashers had won after a very even match.
