Spectators: 9221 (Terracing: 6917, Seating: 2121, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Åke Pil got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 肖真坚 in the 5th minute of play forced FC Snipers's goalkeeper Axel Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Mellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 肖真坚 in the 6th minute of the match. Axel Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goal looked a bit too open when 肖真坚 came free, but Axel Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, 肖真坚 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Axel Mellberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torgny Landin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Axel Mellberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Börna Bulldogs's corner 肖真坚 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Axel Mellberg quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Börna Bulldogs booed when FC Snipers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Chin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Mellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Andersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Bocklund in the 20th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Andreas Andersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Bocklund. Andreas Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Pil's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. When James Chin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. The supporters of Börna Bulldogs booed when FC Snipers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Chin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Torgny Landin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Snipers's Axel Mellberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the FC Snipers defense, 肖真坚 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Mellberg. The FC Snipers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Mellberg should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Snipers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! In the 38th minute Börna Bulldogs were awarded a corner. Pawel Grabowicz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Börna Bulldogs's Åke Hellström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Börna Bulldogs's Vilgot Bålström was substituted for Ragnar Linquist. Axel Mellberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Nafarroa went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Torgny Landin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Börna Bulldogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torgny Landin made a kick off. Timmy Gunnarsson's late challenge caught a Börna Bulldogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timmy Gunnarsson helped the player get up and apologised. Timmy Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Snipers's Timmy Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Pawel Grabowicz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Axel Mellberg, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Börna Bulldogs's Torgny Landin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Axel Mellberg. That made the score 0-5 after 58 minutes of play. 60 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goal looked a bit too open when 肖真坚 came free, but Axel Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börna Bulldogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pawel Grabowicz in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Kent Sandström could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Axel Mellberg however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, 肖真坚 took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Axel Mellberg to make any attempt to save it. Börna Bulldogs's Rob Lute was substituted for Vilgot Bålström. 78 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goalkeeper Axel Mellberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Svahn. Axel Mellberg made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Torgny Landin sent off a good shot on target. After 82 played minutes FC Snipers got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Björklund. After 83 minutes of play FC Snipers's Timmy Gunnarsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes into the match, Pawel Grabowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Mellberg. FC Snipers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pawel Grabowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Axel Mellberg was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Kent Sandström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kent Sandström really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. FC Snipers's Axel Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Landin in the 92nd minute of play. Axel Mellberg came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Börna Bulldogs's Matias Svahn. But to his dismay, Matias Svahn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Börna Bulldogs's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
