Per-Erik Hjortberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonio Čolak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Per-Erik Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Stoffels, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jorge Azenha kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Northland Vikings booed when Divide et impera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marnix Tuhuteru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Stoffels in the 55th minute of play forced Divide et impera's goalkeeper Per-Erik Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ture Waller hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Northland Vikings's Henrik Larsson was substituted for Bebur Topnikov. A collision led to Northland Vikings getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ture Waller hit a great ball. Gao Peng Ran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Hjortberg having to interfere. Divide et impera's Ingvar Möllgren was substituted for Kennet Albäck. Divide et impera's Conny Telin was substituted for Cui Liang Yue. With a little luck, Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg got control of the ball when Conny Telin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Divide et impera's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Peng Ran came free, but Per-Erik Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Divide et impera players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Northland Vikings.
