Hugon Wolniewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Red Devils F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Hugon Wolniewicz made a great header on Red Devils F.C.'s corner, it was just that Hutnik Warszawa's Baxter De Hond managed to reach the ball for a save. Kazimierz Polkoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiktor Poreda succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After 15 played minutes Hutnik Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Zarobski. Baxter De Hond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Poreda in the 18th minute of play. Hutnik Warszawa's Baxter De Hond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Polkoski in the 23rd minute of play. Baxter De Hond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Poreda, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Zygmunt Wrzosek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Soszka's late challenge caught a Red Devils F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Soszka helped the player get up and apologised. Leonard Soszka hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Baxter De Hond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Polkoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Red Devils F.C. booed when Hutnik Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boleslaw Sanocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Wiktor Poreda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Devils F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edgar Skorny kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Wiktor Poreda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Devils F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiktor Poreda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute Wiktor Poreda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baxter De Hond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Red Devils F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Poreda was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes in the game, Hugon Wolniewicz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baxter De Hond having to interfere. Baxter De Hond came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Devils F.C.'s Wiktor Poreda. But to his dismay, Wiktor Poreda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 59th minute, Leonard Soszka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiktor Poreda in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baxter De Hond saved Hutnik Warszawa from getting behind. If Kazimierz Polkoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baxter De Hond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Poreda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wiktor Poreda in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baxter De Hond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the game, Bogumil Witkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hutnik Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Devils F.C. the free kick. With a little luck, Hutnik Warszawa's Baxter De Hond got control of the ball when Wiktor Poreda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Red Devils F.C.'s Wiktor Poreda got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Kazimierz Polkoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Devils F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazimierz Polkoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
